The Author

Katherine graduated with a degree in Fine Arts and earned California teaching credentials. She went on to study computer technology and worked for many years in the business world.

Katherine began taking horseback riding lessons at age forty and has been riding for over 25 years. She has owned and helped train four horses, competed in low-level dressage and jumping trials, and is now working on dressage skills.

Katherine currently assists her husband producing his Photograph America Newsletter in Novato, California. Her passions are riding her American Saddlebred mare and painting in acrylics.
