S. K. Maxwell--Jewelry

This design of an Egyptian chariot and driver was derived from ornamentation in the tomb of King Tut. In early Egypt, it was considered more dignified to ride on a chariot than on the back of a horse. The Egyptian horse was used in battle and in religious ceremonies--rarely for agricultural purposes.
